Apple App Analytics
Apple completely ignores standard UTM parameters. Instead, they use a proprietary attribution system via App Store Connect.
- Provider Token (pt) Required. This identifies your App Store Connect account.
- Campaign Token (ct) Required. The name of your campaign (max 40 chars).
- Media Type (mt=8) Hardcoded to 8 globally to signify an iOS app link.
Google Play Referrer
Google Play supports standard UTMs, but they cannot be placed directly in the main URL query string.
- The Referrer Parameter All UTMs must be nested inside a single `referrer` parameter.
- URL Encoding Essential! Because the UTMs are inside another parameter, their
